The Northern Rock Festival 2016 is to be held on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 September 2106 at the Larei Cultural Centre in Vianden.
The Nordic Rock Festival is a two-day music festival organised annually in the month of September, which was founded in 2011 by the Eventclub Lëtzebuerg. Since 2014 it takes place in the beautiful town of Vianden, in north-eastern Luxembourg.
The festival offers a large range of different music groups from Luxembourg and the Greater Region, from Alternative Rock to Punk, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal up to Death Metal. Currently it still is an indoor festival but with expanding plans for the future. Due to the location in the north of the country, camping is also available, at the Op der Déich camp-site (€5 per person per night).
Currently the line-up includes: Awakening the Seasons, Carpet Room, Birdbones, Depths of Horror, Encypher, Bommeleeer Gewerkschaft, Everwaiting Serenade, Abstract Rapture, Exposer and Inhuman Rampage, with four other bands to be announced closer to the date.
