From 27 April to 25 May 2019, the Quartier Stuff Grünewald a.s.b.l. is organising a series of activities as part of its Wild Wild Wald project taking place in Kirchberg.
These events, held across three weekends, will allow interested persons across Luxembourg the chance to discover the forests of Kirchberg. The first event will take place this Saturday 27 April 2019 from 15:00 at the Red Container (Rue Edward Steichen, 1855 Luxembourg) with the Kick-Off BBQ of the Wild Wild Wald project.
The project is also offering nature lovers the opportunity to discover the forests of Kirchberg with professional guidance during a workshop on 18 May, starting at 10:00. On 25 May, there will be a family-friendly creative workshop for children and families at the Food For Your Senses Festival from 14:00, during which nature will be explored through the imagination and crafts.
At the three events, the members of the Quartier Stuff Grünewald will introduce themselves and the Wild Wild Wald project, funded by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte and supported by the Ministère de l'Environnement, Climat et du Développement durable and the Fonds de Kirchberg. The aim of the Wild Wild Wald project is to present the diversity of nature of the Kirchberg Plateau as well as raising awareness of the importance of nature among the public.
Everyone can participate in all three events (Kick Off BBQ on 27 April, forest workshop on 18 May and craft workshop on 25 May) or just one or two events. Those interested in participating should register via email: quartierstuff@gmail.com.
