The Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL) will play a New Year’s concert in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Mierscher Kulturhaus on both Friday 12 and Saturday 13 January 2024 at 20:00.
Mierscher Kulturhaus, the centre for artistic creation, has been a partner of the OCL over all these years. Corinna Niemeyer will conduct the OCL, joined by the soprano Hila Baggio.
The programme, co-organised by OCL and Mierscher Kulturhaus, will feature:
- Lili Boulanger: D’un matin de printemps (arr.: lain Farrington)
- Ottorino Respighi: Gli Ucceli
- Arnold Schönberg: Vier Brettl-Lieder (arr.: Scott Dunn)
- Einojuhani Rautavaara: Cantus articus
- Györgi Ligeti: Le grand Macabre - Mysteries of the Macabre
