Details:

In the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 34th edition of the traditional Student Fair ("Studentefoire"), organised by Luxembourg's Ministry of Higher Education and Research, will take place for the first time in virtual format, on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November 2020 from 09:00 to 18:00.

This year's selected theme is "Your talent, your future, your job", with a focus on introducing visitors to career prospects in the education system.

As in the past, for two days, students in their final year of secondary school will have the opportunity to learn about higher education and university student life as well as the world of work and career prospects. They will be able to exchange views with representatives of universities and higher education establishments, student associations and representatives of professional life.

Students will also have the opportunity to contact representatives of the Education Ministry who can guide them and provide them with further information. On the virtual stand of the ministry, final year secondary school students will be able to find out about the range of jobs offered in the education sector. One highlight will be a webinar, on 12 November from 11:00 to 12:00, presenting the profiles sought in primary and secondary education, childcare facilities, support systems for students with specific needs and child welfare services.
