The second Festival of English-Language School Theatre (FEST) is being held from Friday 6 to Sunday 6 March 2020 at the Kulturhaus in Mersch (53 rue G-D Charlotte, L-7520 Mersch).
FEST, a celebration of English-language youth theatre, involves a total of ten one-act English-language plays (each max 45 mins) which will be performed by drama groups from schools around the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - several secondary schools around Luxembourg have in recent years augmented their normal English classes with English theatre options or extra-curricular activities. FEST gives the students the possibility not only to act in English in an established venue, but also to see others of their own age performing and to hear English spoken by both native and non-native speakers.
