Traditional Weekend of Hunting Celebrations to be Held in Munshausen
The traditional Munzer Haupeschmart will take place from 3 to 5 November; this year will mark the 28th year of these celebrations and is being organised by the Tourist centre Robbesschier.
The Munzer Haupeschmaart is the traditional hunters' market in honour of their patron saint, Saint Hubert, and dates back to the 17th century.
The weekend programme is as follows:
Friday 3 November
Traditional all-you-can-eat black pudding meal at Robbesschier restaurant. Starts at 20:00. To reserve, tel: 9217451 or email: info@touristcenter.lu
Saturday 4 November
Party to be held at 20:00 under a heated tent for the young and extra young with DJ Flex and Pero Diamond. The party is organised by the local youth group Munshausen-Drauffelt-Siebenaler.
Sunday 5 November
The Hubertusmarkt organised by the Tourist Center Robbesscheier in collaboration with the associations from the municipality of Clervaux and the its surroundings. Over 100 exhibitors will have stands to sell their quality products such as perfume, clothes, wooden toys, jewellry, oils and vinagers. Various activities and regional specialities will also be on offer.
