Details: Sandra Schmit will be reading selections from Guy Rewenig’s "Your heart of ice is hot as vice- Miniatures" on Thursday 19 January 2017 from 18:30 to 20:30 at Chapter1 The Book Loft (40 rue des Bruyères, L-1274 Howald).

In the presence of the author himself, Guy Rewenig, Sandra Schmit, who translated the work into English, will provide a reading of excerpts from "Your heart of ice is hot as vice- Miniatures". Inbetween readings there will be music from a group of Irish traditional musicians.

The event, which is being organised in collaboration with Éditions Guy Binsfeld, will be followed by a drink downstairs at the Irish pub ÉireLux.

Rewenig’s selection of short stories, poems and aphorisms present a unique view on Luxembourg and the author’s topsy-turvy world. The themes range from national and international politics and social and cultural aspects to the search for love and acceptance.

This is the first English reading of the works of one of Luxembourg’s most significant authors.
