Details: The organisers of the traditional Dragons Breakfasts in Luxembourg planning a new event on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2016, a Dragons Art & Music Festival Weekend.

They are planning a weekend of exciting and diverse activities for people of all ages to mark their 10th Anniversary of Art workshops and activities, and are looking for participants who not only have original and vibrant work bot sell, but who will also demonstrate and be prepared to explain their work or hold workshops. Participation in activities has been the key to the success they have enjoyed for the past ten years.

They are unique in Luxembourg in staging this sort of event, and expect a considerable attendance of curious and interested people. They have a large group of loyal clients who enjoy participating in artistic activities and their clients are always particularly generous as they ae keen to support our charity Let the Children Live (registered charity number 1013634) that supports street children in Medellin, Colombia. So far they have raised over €30,000 and are keen to make this a special event!

While welcoming any proposals, they would be particularly interested in artists offering activities such as kiln building and firing, large scale, collaborative sculpting and cob building or other practices showing different techniques, surfaces and methods. Although they are primarily ceramic based, they are keen to include other practices such as those involving textiles, wood, stone, metal and glass.

They can, if necessary, provide the participants with a small shelter, with two or three tables measuring 50 x 220cm and accompanying benches. Brown or white paper is available to cover tables. Other equipment (kilns, burners, barriers, running water, electrical power etc.) may be provided if possible on request, but they are trying to keep the carbon footprint of the event as small as possible.
