Details: AMCHAM will hold an evening event on Thursday 15 October 2015 at the Abbaye de Neumünster in Luxembourg-Grund from 18:30.
There are always new beginnings, especially in business. While moving to a new place can be thrilling, there are always challenges to be faced. All newcomers coming into the Luxembourg workplace face the daunting task of navigating their way around an unfamiliar work environment and wading through complicated tax and administrative requirements. So how do you keep a cool head when new to business in Luxembourg? This session's speakers will send you home with advice that can help new and established professionals make important decisions on behalf of themselves and their families.
The evening event will include contributions from the following speakers:
- Laura Foulds from Analie Tax will guide attendees through tax deductions
- Sylvie Schmit from European Relocation Services will give an insight into what the Expat and the HR department can do to manage expectations and facilitate the success of an assignment.
-Xavier Guell from AXA Luxembourg will give an overview onto what it is important to know for an expat and a company regarding insurance coverage and will give useful advice on how to optimize your general protection.
A “Vin d'honneur” will be offered by Antoine Classen from Bernard Massard.
