Luxembourg-based telecommunications operator cegecom has announced a partnership with Luxembourg-based cybersecurity company F3C Systems, alongside Luxcontrol, completing what it describes as a “Made in Luxembourg” cybersecurity ecosystem for businesses.
The announcement comes ahead of Nexus 2026, taking place in Luxembourg on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 June 2026. According to cegecom, the partnership brings together three Luxembourg companies covering governance, protection and cyber incident response within a single cybersecurity ecosystem.
Under the initiative, Luxcontrol will provide governance, risk management and compliance services, while cegecom will focus on secure connectivity and infrastructure protection. F3C Systems will contribute incident detection and response through a Security Operations Center (SOC) , which is operated 24/7 in Luxembourg.
Cegecom stated that the ecosystem aims to provide Luxembourg SMEs with comprehensive and locally operated cybersecurity services, particularly in the context of evolving European Union (EU) regulations such as NIS2 and DORA.
Looking further, cagecom explained that each partner will remain an expert in its own field, adding that that it is the condition for genuinely effective cybersecurity, rather than a "generalist" supplier logic that dilutes added value.
"Our conviction is that cybersecurity must be approached as a complete value chain, not as a collection of stacked products. By bringing together Luxcontrol, cegecom and F3C Systems within a single ecosystem, we offer our clients a genuine one-stop-shop for cybersecurity, with real experts in each domain. And we do it 100% from Luxembourg, with European partners. It is a choice of coherence, sovereignty and proximity", commented Serge Eiffes, Managing Director at cegecom and artelis.
According to the companies, F3C Systems has developed a pricing model based on the number of supervised devices rather than data volumes, with the aim of making SOC services more accessible to SMEs.
"We are very pleased to join the ecosystem established by cegecom. The complementarity is immediate: cegecom protects the infrastructure, F3C monitors what is happening in real time and responds to it. Our shared ambition is to make high-level cybersecurity genuinely accessible to Luxembourg businesses, without them having to become cybersecurity experts themselves. The ecosystem speaks their language that too is what sovereignty means", commented Frédéric Lens from F3C Systems.
The three companies will present the initiative during a joint keynote at Nexus 2026 titled “The Cybersecurity Value Chain: Securing the Digital Economy End-to-End”. It will take on the Visionary Stage on Wednesday 10 June 2026 from 17:00 to 17:30. Visitors will also be able to meet representatives from cegecom, Luxcontrol and F3C Systems at stand No84 during the event.
