Details:The string quartet concert dedicated to the music of the 17th and 18th century and more specifically to a form of composition: La Fugue will take place at the centre Culturel Altrimenti in the Salle Rheinsheim on 1 July 2015 at 20:30.
Three great composers deal with a single composition technique very differently.
J.S. Bach: Die Kunst der Fuge BWV 1080 – extraits
W.A. Mozart: Adagio und Fuge in C Mol KV 546
L.v. Beethoven: Streichquartett in C Dur Opus 59 n°3 « Razumovsky »
Four instruments – united as one. The quartet Hip4tet first emerged in 2012 from four musicians coming from major European conservatoires, and wanting to perfect their level of higher education at the Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes.
Kinga Ujszaszi and Oleksandr Sora on the violin, Noah Mayer on the viola, and Verena Zauner on the cello, all of which favour an approach that is both modern and ancient music through the "Historical Informed Performance" or historically informed interpretation that is found in the acronym “HIP” in the name of the group.
Not only the choice of playing on period instruments, fitted with ropes in boyaux and specific bows to every period of music in history, but also looking for old documents and analysis of autographs and first editions of the compositions are the singularity of HIP4tet quartet.
The HIP4tet group are regularly invited to play in various specialised orchestras in ancient music such as Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Anima Eterna Brugge and Haydn Sinfonietta Wien.
