Details: Luxembourg's Ministry of Economy has announced details of the 8th edition of the Luxembourg Intellectual Property Day which is being held on Monday 27 April 2015 at Rockhal in Esch-Belval between 13:30 and 17:00.
The Office of Intellectual Property within the Ministry of Economy is organising the event which will begin at 13:30 with the opening of various stands from major stakeholders of intellectual property in Luxembourg, followed by a speech by Secretary of State for the Economy, Francine Closener. Throughout the afternoon, the specialists will be available to the members of the public and visitors seeking information on all aspects of intellectual property, such as patents, trademarks, designs, Copyright and other rights.
From 14:30, five renowned speakers will discuss different subjects related to intellectual property, including the current state of various topics linked to Intellectual Property, including authors' rights in the Unique Digital Market, the creation of the Luxembourg Institute of Intellectual Property in response to the needs of SMEs, and various issues related to a possible reform of copyright. Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.
