Details: As part of the Grundtvig partnership “Playing a Part”, Independent Little Lies, will organise the last of the three workshop series, done with Catalan company Teatre de l’Enjolit and Italian theatre, Teatro Excelsior, on alternative cultural communication at the Kulturfabrik Cultural Centre in Esch-sur-Alzette from 18 to 21 January 2015.
After uncovering some basic theories of cultural communication, participants will take active part in the production “99%” to truly learn about communication through as close to practice as possible. Three speakers, Séverine Zimmer, Luc Caregari and Jill Christophe will oversee the group with participants from Italy and Luxembourg.
The workshop will be held in French, with translation into Italian. Translation into English, Luxembourgish and/or German is also possible, if need be.
The first two workshops in the series held in Italy and Spain earlier this year, explored the Viewpoints method for setting a scene, with Arnau Marin, and play writing, with the playwrights of “99%”, Luxembourg’s Ian De Toffoli and Elies Barbera from Catalonia, respectively. “99%” will be performed in all three countries (Luxembourg, Italy, Spain) in 2015. Participation in the workshop is free of charge and is primarily geared towards people seeking jobs.
