Details: The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) has announced details of its annual Ski Trip, with Les Deux Alpes in France the new destination chosen for 2015.
The ski trip is open to everyone, both members and non-members, but becoming a member of the ICL will help... It will take place from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 January 2015 (leaving Luxembourg at 13:00 on Wednesday, returning to Luxembourg circa 22:00 on Sunday evening).
Les Deux Alpes in France offers a total of 222 kms of ski pistes, and the accommodation will be provided by an all-inclusive hotel in the heart of Les Deux Alpes, the Club Med, which provides a great base for exploring the diverse terrain of Les Deux Alpes. With one of the largest skiable glaciers in Europe and brilliant off piste at the top of the resort, as well as good beginner and intermediate slopes lower down, there is something for everyone in this down-to-earth resort.
The property sits on the slopes under the sun of the Southern Alps and forms a cascade of rooftops nestling in the powdery snow. The starting point for beautiful downhill runs, Les Deux Alpes beckons winter sports fans to plunge into an exceptional ski domain overlooked by the Meije Glacier, a symbol of this part of the Alps.
In the evenings, the Resort, with its magnificent terrace looking down on the village, forms a cosy retreat where guests can gather around an open fire to chat about the day’s adventures and their progress.
The trip is based on an all-inclusive stay; All meals, with wine, beer and soft drinks are included. Drinks service available all day and evening (during bar opening hours).
A full day tuition and ski guiding service is included in the hotel cost. As per Club Med availability you can also arrange your own ski lessons with the hotel guides. A four day lift pass is included in the price.

Reservations: A €250 deposit is required to secure a place on the ski trip. The early bird price is valid until 31 October.
