Details: Since 2008, the Theaterfest in Luxembourg is a must for anyone who is passionate about theatre.
For the 5th time, the Luxembourgish theatre scene opens the season by celebrating its Theaterfest. Originally held every two years, the enthusiasm of the audience made the organisers switch to a one-year cycle.
The unique mix of premieres, street theatre and information about the upcoming season, with the magnificent Abbaye de Neumünster as its backdrop that make the Theaterfest an outstanding event.
In this fifth edition, the motto is again ‘Schaarf op Theater’! For this purpose, all 21 members of the THEATER FEDERATIOUN leave their usual venues for a day, in order to present themselves to the public in and around the Abbaye de Neumünster. Be it in the monastery, in the conference rooms, exhibition halls, the chapel or the courtyard: every corner of the Abbey will host small theatre or dance performances for every taste and all ages.
To learn more about the upcoming season, the audience can follow the colour trail in the courtyard of the abbey where the members of the THEATER FEDERATIOUN look forward to welcoming the curious visitors at their information desks.
The final event this year will be a show by the famous Luxembourg magician David Goldrake, written and conceived by Claude Frisoni.
