Details: Within the framework of “The European Union as Global International Actor” lecture series, organised by Prof. Eleftheria Neframi, University of Luxembourg, Dr Chad Damro, Co-Director of the Europa Institute, University of Edinburgh, will give a public talk on “Market Power Europe”. This presentation undertakes an evaluation of transatlantic relations in the context of a recent conceptualisation of the EU as ‘Market Power Europe’ and will also include a discussion of a critical transatlantic case for MPE: the launch in 2013 of EU-US negotiations over a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
The conference will take place on Thursday, 12 June 2014 at 17:00 at the University of Luxembourg.
