Details: Steven Pitman and the Celebrations will perform a unique concert, "ELVIS - Aloha from Madison Square Garden", on Friday 21 March 2014 at the Trifolion in Echternach.
On 9, 10 & 11 June 1972, elvis Presley gave four full concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York. Over the 4 days, 80,000 tickets were sold. The New York Times nicknamed Elvis the "Prince from another Planet".
"Aloha from Hawaii" was transmitted by satellite to 40 countries in Europe. The concert took place on 14 January 1973 in Honolulu, resulting in 1.5 million viewers, costign a budget of USD 2.5 million.
Steve Pitman pays homage to Elvis Presley in this unique evening that combines the best of both concerts.
