Details: The 65th FIABCI World Congress, the international summit bringing together the entire ecosystem of real estate professionals, is being held in Luxembourg from 17 - 22 May 2014 for three days of lectures attracting the biggest players in the global real estate scene.
The winners of the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence International will be announced at the World Congress.
Every year, a capital city is chosen to host the annual World Congress of the federation, involving three days of lectures, discussions and workshops with more than 1,500 visitors expected. The central theme of the congress, BUILDING HUMANITY will be the thread of the programme and sub-themes will include: Architecture & Urban Design, Real Estate Marketing, Finance & Tax, Cities and Technology.
The speaker confirmed for the opening conference is Jeremy Rifkin, one of today's leading economists and thinkers of his thesis of the third industrial revolution.
Since 1992, every year the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Awards reward real estate projects embodying excellence in all disciplines of the real estate sector. Nominated for 13 awards this 2014 edition: Heritage (Restoration / Conservation) Category, Hotel Category, Industrial Category, Master Plan Category, Office Category, Public Infrastructure / Amenities Category, Residential (High Rise) Category, Residential (Low Rise) Category, Retail Category, Resort Category, Rural (Homestead Development) Category, Specialised Project (Purpose Built) Category, Sustainable Development Category.
Luxembourg's projects can apply until 15 October 2013. The winners of each category will face their global competitors in more than 40 countries. Winners will be announced at the 65th edition of the FIABCI World Congress during the gala dinner on 20 May 2014 at Rockhal.
