Details:  The films for the third annual Cinéma du Sud film festival in Luxembourg have been announced, with all screenings at Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

Cinéma du Sud is organised by a consortium of NGOs in Luxembourg and highlights issues relating to humanitarian aid and development. Each year a different theme is chosen with this year’s being “Actors of change – Ensemble contruisons le monde de demain.” This translates to “Together let us build the world of tomorrow.”

The films chosen for this festival, running from 4 October 2013 to 5 December 2013, are listed below with many of them in English or with English subtitles.

24.10.2013 – Vandana Shiva – Von Saatgut and Saatgutmultis – in German

14.11.2013 – This is my land… Hebron – in Hebrew & English with French subtitles

21.11.2013 – Born into Brothels – in English & Bengali with French & Dutch subtitles

28.11.2013 – Voices of Transition – in English with French subtitles

05.12.2013 – Sweet Dreams – English & Kinyarwanda with English subtitles
