As part of this year's "Summer in the City" programme, the Blues'n'Jazz Rallye is returning to the Pfaffenthal, Clausen and Grund districts of Luxembourg City on Saturday 18 July 2026.

Organised by the City of Luxembourg (VdL) and described as one of the capital's traditional summer events, the Blues'n'Jazz Rallye will bring together internationally renowned musicians for performances in cafés, clubs and public spaces across the UNESCO World Heritage-listed districts of Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal. The VdL described the event as a unique musical experience unlike any other in Europe.

The VdL has announced that there will be six main festival sites: Neimënster (Grund), Melusina (Clausen), Place Emile Mousel (Clausen), Parc Mansfeld (Clausen), Théiwesbuer (Pfaffenthal) and Sang a Klang (Pfaffenthal). Eight cafés and bistros located along the route linking the various stages will also host jazz and blues concerts throughout the evening.

The organisers invite attendees to enjoy an evening of live music across the capital's historic neighbourhoods and have confirmed that catering stands will be available at the different festival sites, while cafés and restaurants along the route will also offer outdoor dining on their terraces. 

The VdL has organised a dedicated shuttle service, Line 50 – Blues'n'Jazz Rallye, which will operate every seven to ten minutes from 17:30 to 03:30 between Glacis car park (Theater Quai 1), Pfaffenthal, Clausen, the city centre and back to Glacis. Regular bus routes 9, 14, 15 and CN1, together with Nightbus services, will also serve the event. Visitors can additionally access the festival via the Pfaffenthal–Ville Haute and Grund lifts, which will remain open until 04:00, as well as the funicular.

Road traffic will be restricted in the Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal districts from 17:00 on Saturday until 03:00 on Sunday 19 July 2026. Parking restrictions will also be in place in the affected neighbourhoods. In addition, access to the Brasserie car park (Rives de Clausen) will be closed between 17:00 on 18 July and 03:00 on 19 July, while Schuman and Glacis car parks will remain available under their usual Saturday conditions. Bus routes 14, 15, 23 and CN1 will operate on temporary diversions during the event.
