On 25 December 2024, the 62nd edition of the “Zürcher Bal” will take place at the LuxExpo in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 21:00.
This traditional ball is organised by the Cercle d’Etudiants Luxembourgeois à Zurich (LSZ) and has been one of the most attended student balls in Luxembourg in recent years.
A new feature this year will be the presence of a bar in the lounge, where guests can chat in a relaxed atmosphere. The evening will be accompanied musically by the Noisemakers as well as by the DJs GiOM, WazToo and Nosi.
The ball is organised under the “Green Event” label, under which measures are taken to make the ball more sustainable. Many local products are offered, more than 20 free shuttles provide transport to and from the ball for visitors, and glass bottles are mainly used, as opposed to plastic bottles.
Crémant, which is one of the traditions of the ball, can be enjoyed alongside beer, soft drinks and cocktails in four bars. In the outdoor area, food trucks will be available.
Evening dress is mandatory and entry is only possible from the age of 18.

Admission costs €30 in advance (€25 for students and pupils), with on-the-doot prices at €35 and €30 respectively.
