The 29th Walfer Bicherdeeg (Walferdange Book Days) 2024, the big event for book-lovers, is being held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2024.
This year the event’s theme will be “Wanderlust”, or the desire to be always on the move, always on the road, as if mobilised by the fear of immobility. These journeys also inspire texts, and all these experiences enrich literary works. New horizons emerge, echoing the impressions gathered on travels. Literature then takes those who read to imaginary lands as yet unknown, promising further discoveries, exploring the limits of our insatiable thirst for the new.
