Details:
The annual Run in the Dark fundraising and awareness-raising event is taking place this year on Wednesday 15 November.
The run raises money for the Mark Pollock Trust, which funds medical research to try and cure spinal cord injury. A total of around 25,000 people worldwide get up from their armchairs, slip on their red flashing armbands and pull on their running shoes to complete either the 5k or 10k distances. In Luxembourg, one of five flagship Run in the Dark events, around 1,500 people are expected to take over the city streets to run, for those who dream to walk.
The event starts at 20:00 in Luxembourg-Clausen. The organisers are looking for volunteers to help, to be available between 18:00 - 22:00 (see https://www.runinthedark.org/volunteer/).
The participation fee is €27 per person. To register, see https://www.runinthedark.org/event/luxembourg/.
