The British Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (BCC), in collaboration with St George’s International School, is holding an event entitled "COP28 Warm-up" on Wednesday 15 November 2023 at 18:30 at the premises of St George's International School (11 Rue des Peupliers, L-2328 Luxembourg-Hamm).
The event will bring together businesses, schools and experts to discuss hopes and cautions for progress at COP28 in Dubai in December 2023.
Guest speaker Dr Andrew Ferrone, Head of the Meteorological Department at ASTA, Luxembourg, will share his experiences from previous COPs. Andrew will also discuss EU hopes for a strong outcome from COP28, following his participation at the July UN Climate Change conference in Bonn, Germany.
Audience members will then be able to pose questions to a panel including Dr Andrew Ferrone, Dr Claudia Hitaj, advisor from the Ministry of Environment, and potentially a youth representative from the UN Youth Delegates for Climate Change.
