The charity Aide Philippines Asbl and Amitié Luxembourg Amérique Latine (ALAL) are organising the Kaumahan Food & Music Festival on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August 2023 in Huttange-Beckerich (near Redange, close to the border with Belgium).
"Kaumahan" is Cebuano and means "field". The organisers strive to make a festival that focuses on today's environmental issues, and is labelled a "Green Event". In creating and conceptualising such a short-lived event, the organisers stae "we start from scratch and ask ourselves one central question: 'What resources do we have and how can we use them responsibly?' ".
Live music, with food and drink (Filipino Specialties, Veggie Specialties, Burgers & Fries; Ice cream, Crèpes & Waffles). All dishes are organic, local and homemade.
