The British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) 2023 is holding both a Spring Festival and an Autumn Festival
- Spring Festival (19/20-24 March) at Ciné Utopia
- Autumn Festival (18-22 September) at the Cinémathèque
The festival involves the screening of 15-20 feature films, plus short films, from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland across a variety of genres (drama, comedy, thriller, documentary, animation,...) and also includes Luxembourg Luxembourg co-productions.
The festival also regularly invites Special Guests (actors, directors, producers, screenwriters,...) to Luxembourg to introduce their films and participate in post-screening Q&As as well as in seminars, conferences and workshops.
The programme is normally announced 2-3 weeks before the start of the festival.
