The Economic Committee decided at its meeting on Thursday to extend the deadline for submitting requests for partial unemployment for the month of January 2021 until 30 December 2020 inclusive.
The decision was taken in consultation with employer and union representatives.
As such, companies which have been forced to keep their doors closed due to an administrative closure may, exceptionally, benefit from additional time to submit their request for partial unemployment for the month of January 2021.
Companies concerned which have not yet submitted a request for partial unemployment for January now have until 30 December 2020 inclusive to do so, via the MyGuichet.lu platform.
