On 22 January 2018, Luxembourg-based company VIP Domotec Home Service was declared bankrupt, resulting in the loss of 30 jobs.
In light of the bankruptcy of VIP Domotec Home Service, which specialised in the cleaning of buildings, the Luxembourg trade union LCGB is offering help and assistance to some 30 former employees who are now unemployed.
Yesterday, the LCGB held an information meeting for the staff concerned in order to assist them in drawing up their accounts. This is to ensure that employees can receive late payment and bankruptcy benefits as quickly as possible. Since the company has never complied with the applicable collective agreement in the building cleaning sector, additional adjustments related to the benefits are required.
The LCGB also intends to assist employees in their efforts to find a new job.
