On Wednesday 21 October 2015, the new premises of the Agence pour le Développment de l'Emploi (ADEM) were opened in Diekirch, making it the fourth largest ADEM agency in the country.

The new premises were inaugurated by Nicolas Schmit, Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, who explained that the area had been enlarged as well as renovated in response to a sharp increase in number of employees in recent years.

"This agency has been completely renovated in order to improve the reception of jobseekers and to offer them a more personalised service," explained Isabelle Schlesser, Director of ADEM. "This is also the first agency to carry the colours of the new visual identity and the new logo of ADEM. All other agencies will be updated with the new signage in the coming months".

A total of 19 employees work at this agency and three others work in the Maison de l'Orientation in Diekirch. Minister Schmit stated that "The physical welcoming of ADEM customers also forms part of the important points of the reform. A good reception means better service for job seekers".
