Luxembourg's Ministry of Research and Higher Education has confirmed that more than 120 exhibitors from national and international higher education establishments will be present at the 38th edition of the traditional Student Fair being held at the Belval university campus of the University of Luxembourg on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 October 2024; the event is being held in close collaboration with the Association of Luxembourg Student Circles (ACEL).

For the third time, the Studentefoire will be held over two days on the Belval university campus, enabling visitors to find out about studies, student life and career opportunities.

During the two days of the Fair, students in the final year of secondary school (1st and 2nd year) will have the opportunity to obtain information directly from the exhibitors present on site. On more than 120 stands spread across four buildings (Maison du savoir (ground floor and floors -1 and +1), Maison des arts et des étudiants, Halle des poches à fonte, Skip), they will be able to interact with representatives of universities and higher education institutions, as well as with associations and student circles.

Students will also have the opportunity to contact representatives of the Ministry of Research and Higher Education (Higher Education Information Service and Financial Aid Service) who will guide them in their efforts and provide them with useful information, both on the studies themselves and on state financial aid for higher education.

At the same time, students will be able to attend a series of conferences in Belval (at the Luxembourg Learning Centre (Ellipse room)) relating to various professional fields, namely the health professions, teaching and careers in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT).

The in-person Student Fair is open

- on Thursday 24 October 2024 from 09:00 - 18:00, with the 15:30 to 18:00 slot reserved for the general public,
- on Friday 25 October 2024 from 09:00 - 17:00 (open to the general public from 15:30 to 17:00).

The in-person fair is complemented by a digital platform bringing together not only the exhibitors physically present in Belval, but also some 80 additional "virtual" exhibitors. On this platform, exhibitors present their institutions or associations, in particular via pre-recorded videos, and make their downloadable documentation available to visitors.

During the two days of the in-person fair, various webinars from foreign higher education institutions (not present in Belval) can also be followed on the platform live and interactively.

The digital platform www.studentefoire.lu has been online since 16 October 2024, more than a week before the in-person fair, to allow high school students to obtain information virtually in order to best prepare their visit to Belval. The platform will remain fully accessible (i.e. with documentation, video library, conferences and webinars in replay, contacts, etc.) until 3 January 2025.

No registration is necessary to access the platform.
