Luxembourg's flag carrier airline Luxair has announced that it is increasing its flight frequencies to even more destinations this winter and unveiled two additional destinations for summer 2023.
This news follows Luxair's earlier announcement concerning increased flight frequencies to destinations such as Porto (Portugal) and Dublin (Ireland) this winter, as well as the addition of flights to Pescara (Italy) and Split (Croatia) next summer.
According to this latest news, Luxair is also increasing the number of its flights to the following destinations this winter:
• Agadir (Morocco): as of 15 October 2022, with one rotation per week on Saturdays;
• Malta: new winter operations as of 11 February 2023. Tickets are already on sale. One weekly rotation will be added on Saturdays;
• Naples (Italy): new winter operations as of 12 February 2023. Tickets are already on sale. Two weekly rotations on Thursdays and Sundays;
• Bordeaux (France): new flights added for the Christmas and Carnival holidays, bringing the total rotations during these periods to two weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays);
• Dubai (UAE): extra flights during the Christmas and Carnival holidays, bringing the weekly rotations to three during these periods;
• Munich (Germany): the total weekly offer will increase to thirteen flights, with the addition of a new flight on Sundays for the whole season;
• Barcelona (Spain): daily flights, with the addition of a new flight on Saturdays for the whole season;
• Venice (Italy): up to six weekly flights added for the whole season.
Moreover, Luxair will introduce two new destinations and improve existing offers for summer 2023 as follows:
• Izmir (Turkey): from 6 April 2023 and for the entire summer season, with one rotation per week, on Thursdays, Luxair customers will be able to fly to Izmir, the second Turkish destination offered by Luxair and LuxairTours. Customers may also opt to stay in one of the fourteen hotels soon to be offered by LuxairTours in Izmir;
• Chania (Crete): from 12 May 2023 and for the upcoming summer season, Luxair will add Chania to its flight schedule. With one rotation per week on Fridays, LuxairTours customers will be able to explore Crete's second largest city. Tickets to Chania are already on sale and LuxairTours will soon offer twelve hotels at this destination;
• Santorini (Greece): direct flights from June 2023, with one weekly rotation on Mondays;
• Mykonos (Greece): direct flights from June 2023, with one weekly rotation on Wednesdays;
• Toulon (France): new flight added on Tuesday for the summer season, bringing the operations during summer school holidays up to three flights per week (days of operation: Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday);
• Malaga (Spain): now daily service for all summer season, with the addition of an extra flight on Thursday.
