On Friday 6 November 2026, Luxembourg app developer Mohamed Reda Chaouki announced the launch of Itinerarly, a free-to-use travel app featuring 134 audio walking tours for 44 cities worldwide.

The free iPhone and Android app was built by the independent developer, based in Luxembourg, with the aim to replace the “open browser tabs and the unordered list of places that usually come with a day of sightseeing”.

According to the developer, when using the app, users add the places they want to see and Itinerarly puts them in the best order, with travel times that account for live traffic, then guides users from stop to stop on foot or by car, including on the car screen with Apple CarPlay on iPhone.

The app also offers 134 free audio walking tours in 44 cities and 21 countries, from Paris and Rome to London, New York, Tokyo and Luxembourg. At each stop, a short story about the place plays, in English, French, Spanish, Italian or Chinese, with natural-sounding synthetic voices.

In Luxembourg City, three routes from one hour to two hours 20 minutes lead from the Grand Ducal Palace and Notre-Dame Cathedral to the Bock Casemates, the Chemin de la Corniche, the Grund, the Adolphe Bridge and the Gëlle Fra.

Additionally, the app features an AI-powered Adventure mode, and suggestions nearby. When a user does not know what to do, Adventure mode uses artificial intelligence (AI) to come up with a surprise outing nearby: pick a vibe, and the next stop stays hidden until the user arrives. Suggestions mode also helps in finding food, cafés and things to do around you.

"Every city trip I took ended the same way: ten tabs open, places in random order, and me standing in front of a closed museum. I wanted one app for the day itself: you know where to go, in what order, and you understand what you are looking at,” said Itinerarly creator Mohamed Reda Chaouki.

Itinerarly is free to use, with no ads and no paid tours; however, a free account is required.
