Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs announced today that third-country nationals residing in Canada, Georgia or Tunisia will no longer be allowed to enter Luxembourg, with effect from Monday 9 November 2020.

As part of temporary restrictions on non-essential travel to the European Union (EU) during the COVID-19 pandemic, third-country nationals having their place of residence in Canada, Georgia or Tunisia will no longer be authorised to enter the territory of the Grand Duchy from next week.

However, from this same date, third-country nationals residing in Singapore will again be authorised to travel to Luxembourg. Proof of residence remains the responsibility of the third-country national.

The updated list of third countries whose residents are authorised to enter the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is as follows: Australia; China (subject to confirmation of reciprocity at EU level); South Korea; Japan; New Zealand; Rwanda; Singapore; Thailand; Uruguay.

The temporary restrictions for other third-country nationals will remain in place until 31 December 2020 inclusive.
