Luxair has reported that one of its flights to Luxembourg had to turn back to the airport in Dubai following a technical incident on Thursday 20 February 2025.
Luxair flight LG9010 from Dubai to Luxembourg encountered a technical incident which the airline said limited the comfort of passengers during the flight.
The Luxair Boeing 737-8 registered LX-LBL turned back and landed at Dubai airport "without any problem".
The captain and crew informed the passengers of the changes and Luxair assured that "their safety was not jeopardised at any moment". The airline added that passengers were "taken care of and solutions proposed to them".
Luxair said it had organised a new flight for the morning of Friday 21 February 2025 to ensure the passengers' return to Luxembourg.
The airline noted it was "making every effort to avoid disruptions" but added that "the safety and comfort of its passengers and crew remains its top priority, and in some cases, unforeseen events may affect operations".
