Colis Privé, a French private parcel delivery company, has announced its international deployment in Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco.
In a context of global e-commerce growth, Colis Privé is expanding into the Belgian, Luxembourgish and Moroccan markets under the “Colis Privé” brand. These locations are a first source of international growth for the French delivery company. Activities in each new country will be operated either by subsidiaries or by local operators who will rely on brand licenses and the know-how of Colis Privé.
In Belgium and Luxembourg, Colis Privé is developing an optimised logistics plan that enhances the speed and efficiency of order processing and allows next day home deliveries in the afternoon and evening. To develop its service in Belgium and Luxembourg, the company will rely on an operational sorting hub from June 2021, located in Willebroek near Antwerp in Belgium.
In its efforts to reduce its overall ecological footprint, the company has also chosen to rely on a network of subcontractors using a fleet of 90% of electric vehicles, thus creating the first national delivery network using renewable energies.
In Morocco, Colis Privé operates in the form of a license agreement. Its operators will benefit from Colis Privé's know-how and expertise as well as from its technology and operational processes.
The international operations of Colis Privé are managed by Bart Sasse; Colis Privé activities in France are also managed by Jean-Philippe Bergougnoux.
Frédéric Pons, Co-Chairman of Colis Privé and Co-Founder of HOPPS Group, commented: “The deployment of Colis Privé internationally is a real strategic opportunity. We have identified local partners and some of our clients have already indicated to us their wish to support us in these new countries. The brand has established itself in France as a first-rate private leader and today we have the technical, industrial and financial capacities to continue our development abroad. Our model has developed around an offer entirely dedicated to e-commerce, the success of which is based on the quality of its services, speed of execution at competitive prices and the paramount importance of customer satisfaction. It is this unique know-how but also our DNA that we now wish to offer to our international customers".
