The Irish Embassy in Luxembourg has announced details of forthcoming Hallowe’en and storytelling events.

On Saturday 26 October 2024 at 19:30, Comhaltas will host a Hallowe’en Céilí of Irish music and dance in the Centre Culturel in Luxembourg-Hollerich. Comhaltas is an international movement that promotes Irish culture through music, singing and dancing. Entry is free for members and €10 for non-members. For details, visit https://comhaltas.lu/

On Sunday 3 November, a Hallowe’en event will be hosted at the Ambassador’s residence for six-to-twelve-year-olds at 14:00, in partnership with the Irish Club of Luxembourg and the Home from Home expat shop. There will be some storytelling, goodie bags, etc. Places are limited and parents/guardians are advised to email EventsLuxembourg@dfa.ie with “Halloween” in the subject box. The names and ages of the children attending should also be included. 

On Saturday 2 November, a storytelling event will be held in Luxembourg City Library. This collaborative event will bring acclaimed Irish children’s author, Shane Hegarty, to Luxembourg.
