Crowds flocked to the Centre Polyvalent Gaston Stein in Junglinster over the weekend for the fifth edition of the Brixembourg LEGO exhibition and sale.
LEGO enthusiasts of all ages were queuing outside already when the doors opened at 11:00 on Saturday 1 June 2024.
The first Brixembourg exhibition, organised by Brixembourg asbl, took place in 2019. The event did not go ahead in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, although it made its comeback as a CovidCheck event in 2021.
2024 thus marks the fifth anniversary edition of the two-day event, which offers collectors and amateurs an opportunity to bolster their brick collections, admire some impressive sets and try their luck in a raffle. Food and drinks are also available for purchase, and children's face painting is on the agenda.
More than 25 exhibitors and traders from Luxembourg and the Greater Region are displaying their sets and creations in the 1,000 m2 space.
A special collectible Brixembourg figurine is released each year but often sells out quickly (pre-orders).
Opening hours: Saturday 1 June 2024, from 11:00 to 17:00; Sunday 2 June 2024, from 10:00 to 16:30.
Admission costs €6 for adults and €3 for children (cash or via Payconiq at the venue).
