ASTI, a member of the International Women's Day (IWD) platform, has announced it will participate in the Women’s March on Friday 8 March, on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, departing at the Place de Paris in Luxembourg-Ville at 17:00.

The Conseil National des Femmes du Luxembourg (CNFL) organised this march which will go around through Luxembourg City centre and end at 19:00 at the Altimentri Centre.

On 1 March, the association organised a meeting, as is their yearly custom, to make protest signs to participate in the march. This presented an opportunity to discuss everyone's situation and their demand: legal regularisation.

ASTI requests a residence permit for all people who live and work in Luxembourg, highlighting that “a real fight against violence against migrant women, against human trafficking, against labour exploitation of migrant women, sexual exploitation of migrant women and against the precariousness and homelessness of migrant women inevitably requires regularisation of all people in precarious administrative situations.
