The Stackelser Inte Fest is taking place on Saturday 2 September 2023 at Ettelbruck, comprising a large arts and crafts market, antertainment (animations), a swimming race and a duck race along the River Alzette that flows through the town.
In aid of charity and organised by the Ettelbrécker Pompjeeën Asbl, the Duck Race (at 16:00 from the pedestrian bridge near the CAPE) involves members of the public adopting one or more bright yellow racing ducks (maximum 10,000 ducks), with prizes to be won (1st prize: balloon ride for 2; 2nd prize: wellness weekend; 3rd prize: free Mustang car rental; 4th prize: €300 travel voucher). Cost: €5/duck (online purchases, also from the Ettelbruck City Tourist Office)
Catering: a lunch menu (Pasta, rice and salad) will be served between 12:00 - 14:00, cost €22 (reservation required via tel: 621-658591 or email: amicale@cisettasbl.lu). Grilled food and drinks will also be available throughout the day.
