The Nature- & Geopark Mëllerdall (Mullerthal) and Upper Sûre Nature Park will be hosting various activities this weekend in the context of World Water Day.

World Water Day has been held on 22 March every year since 1993. This annual United Nations (UN) observance day highlights the importance of fresh water and the need to protect this essential resource. This year's theme is "Groundwater, making the invisible visible".

Aquatower Berdorf / Nature- & Geopark Mëllerdall

To allow people of all ages to discover the elementary importance of water, Aquatower Berdorf (106a Rue de Consdorf) is organising, in collaboration with the Nature- & Geopark Mëllerdall, a celebratory event around this theme on Sunday 27 March 2022. Between 10:00 and 17:00, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of water. On the agenda are guided tours, a hike on the theme of drinking water, reading activities for children and an interactive rally, among others. The Badminton Regioun Mëllerdall association will take care of supplies. Free entry.
