The organisers of the Moselle Lights and Flames festival (Mosel - Licht und Flammen) have announced that the event is postponed to Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October 2022.
The festival, which will take place from Wasserbillig to Remich, is organised with the support of the Regional Office of Tourism Luxembourg Moselle Region, the LEADER Region Miselerland and the General Directorate of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Mobility and Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development.
Planned intitally to take place on 6 and 7 May 2022 for the opening of the tourist season, Léon Gloden, president of the Entente Touristique de la Moselle, explained the decision to postpone: “Finally, we decided to move the event to the fall. The uncertainty about the health situation makes it difficult to plan ahead. That's why we made this decision.”
The programme will be composed of entertainment, delicacies, discoveries, music and conviviality. The focus will be on tourism in the Moselle region as well as on viticulture, winegrowers and local products.
