Kiermes Funfair Inaugurated in Kinnekswiss City Park

On Friday 30 July 2021, a Kierrnes funfair was inaugurated in the Kinnekswiss public park in Luxembourg city. 

The old-timer funfair is part of the city's summer entertainment programme "D'Stad lieft”. For two weeks, the Kinnekswiss will take on the appearance of a fair from a bygone era, featuring historic rides dating from 1886 until 1956. In total, 15 functional attractions, including the oldest transportable Ferris wheel (1902), a duck fishing stand (1946), a galloping carousel (1886), a confectionery stand (1956) as well as various entertainments by acrobats will entertain visitors to the municipal park in a nostalgic atmosphere.

Free entry

The attractions will be operated at usual rates.
