Luxembourg non-profit association natur&ëmwelt asbl has presented details of upcoming activities as part of its "En Dag an der Natur" (a day in nature) campaign, which is running from 1 April until 31 August 2021.

The aim of the "En Dag an der Natur" campaign is to awaken the interest of a large number of people in nature and to offer them the possibility of experiencing the beauty of the landscapes, the fauna and the flora which surrounds us.

The 2021 edition consists of 370 activities organised by more than 100 actors in the field. 

Higlights for the period running from 4 to 16 May 2021 include:

  • Thurs. 6 May 2021, 15:00 - 18:00: Fermentation Workshop @ A Wiewesch nature conservation centre (12 Syrdallstrooss, 6850 Manternach). Learn how to presere food in a simple, safe, healthy and delicious way through fermentation. Bring your own jars, favourite vegetables and spices and get started right away under expert guidance.   • Sun. 9 May 2021, 14:00 - 21:00: Yoga-SUP workshop on the Upper Sûre Lake @ Lultzhausen Youth Hostel (20 An der Driicht, Lultzhausen). Sarah & John Yoga will guide participants as they practise Hatha yoga on a paddle board. Only adults with prior knowledge of yoga and / or paddleboarding may join.   • Wed. 12 May 2021, 14:00 - 16:00: Forest Bathing @ A Wiewesch nature conservation centre (12 Syrdallstrooss, 6850 Manternach). Forest bathing is a conscious practice of connecting with nature and surrounding yourself with the energy of the natural world. Language(s): Luxembourgish, German and English.
