The 8th edition of LuxCon, organised by Science Fiction & Fantasy Society Luxembourg, will take place in hybrid mode on the weekend of 17-18 April 2021.
This convention, based on the English-speaking world’s model, offers the opportunity to celebrate science fiction, fantasy and horror in culture.
This year, the event will include two days of streaming online, social interaction on the Discord server and a nine-day artshow at Neumünster Abbey (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund.
In collaboration with neimënster, LuxCon 2021 will be streamed on various platforms to allow as much interaction as possible. As always, the programme will include panels about science fiction, fantasy and horror.
There will also be a cosplay contest albeit in a different format than usual; the contest will take place digitally. The organisers will record a clip with the contestants at neimënster before airing the clip during the LuxCon 2021 stream.
In addition, LuxCon 2021, together with neimënster, is organising an exhibition where several works of various artists will be displayed from 10 to 18 April 2021.
