Farvest, a leading B2B event agency in Luxembourg, has announced its decision to postpone the first edition of its "Creative Summer" event dedicated to marketing communications (MarCom) professionals until next year.

Like many other companies in the sector, the event calendar of Farvest has substantially changed this year. Given the impossibility to gather large crowds this summer, the first edition of the agency's new event targeting MarCom professionals, Creative Summer, has been postponed to 2021.

Still hoping to entertain and reward the Grand Duchy's MarCom community best practices this year, Farvest has decided to organise a one-time edition of "Día de los Marketers" on 12 November 2020. Día de los Marketers will be held at Kinepolis Kirchberg in Luxembourg City, with the first part of the evening taking place in one of the cinema rooms, dedicated to presenting the Luxembourg Marketing & Communication Awards 2020. MarCom experts from Luxembourg will be able to discover in detail and in video the three best projects of each award category on the big screen.

"This year, and following the various feedback received during the previous editions, we have decided to better highlight the agencies and other candidates' projects. To do so, uploading a video in the application is now mandatory. This can be a motion design presentation, an interview, or any other video file. After the broadcast of each category podiums, the winners will be announced", explained Julie Bodin, Project Manager.

In 2020, the focus will be on the awards (the presented projects may exceptionally go back as far as January 2019) with the promise of a strong digital content strategy, before and after the event, to discuss the different expertises rewarded during this Luxembourg Marketing & Communication Awards ceremony. Marketers' ambition is to offer a greater visibility to the top three applications of each award, while presenting in an efficient and clear way why the winning projects received the jury's best grades.

In addition, Marketers and Farvest (via the eminent members of the jury composed of local decision-makers and seasoned professionals) will reward an Outstanding MarCom Support operation, imagined during the first half of 2020, to face the current public health crisis and its aftermath for Luxembourgish businesses, brands and the economy. For the first time, the candidates will be able to use the new Awards' management platform designed by Farvest in 2019, and already tested by the IT One and InFinance communities.

Finally, the evening will continue in the Mexican-themed atmosphere of the QoSQo restaurant-bar, located within the Kinepolis Kirchberg complex, to gather and give MarCom professionals the opportunity to enjoy each other's company, congratulate the award winners and discuss future projects.
