As in previous years, the young farmers' association Lëtzebuerger Landjugend a Jongbaueren (LLJ) Asbl organised a Tractor Parade (called a Christmas Tour) on St Stephens Day, 26 December 2025, with the aim of spreading Christmas cheer across Luxembourg.
Six regional LLJ groups set off along different routes as it was starting to get dark, in convoys of festive decorated tractors, driving through rural towns, past hospitals, nursing homes and social institutions across the Grand Duchy, with each taking 15-20 minutes to pass each point, with each convoy taking around four hours to complete their route.
The event was popular with families who braved the sub-zero temperatures, but at least it was not raining and the wind chill experienced on Christmas Eve was no longer a factor. The public appreciated the effort the young farmers had gone to, with Christmas lights, ornaments and sometime even Christmas trees decorating the convoy of large and small tractors, with many playing festive music and some towing trailers too.
LLJ Clervaux travelled from and to Troisvierges; LLJ Diekirch and LLJ Fouhren departed from Ettelbruck, finishing in Vianden; LLJ Centre left Colmar-Berg for Rambrouch; LLJ South departed Dippach for Belvaux; LLJ Grevenmacher set off from Remich for Echternach; LLJ Upper-Sûre departed Schumannseck for Pommerlach.
