Animal Dignity Luxembourg, a platform for information and exchange around animal rights issues, has announced details of the second Luxembourg Animal Rights March to be held on Saturday 17 August 2019 from 14:00 in Luxembourg-Ville, with the protest march leaving from the National Monument of Solidarity on Plateau du St Esprit.

A peaceful walk through the city centre will visit key animals of the City of Luxembourg and places symbolising the relationship between humans and animals and will pay tribute to the millions of animals killed every day by humans. The event also aims to draw attention to the environmental impact resulting from animal exploitation.

The global annual animal rights march initiative has been in place since 2016.
