The Union Royale Belge - Belgische Koninklijke Vereniging (URB-BKV) has announced that it is organising an event to celebrate the Belgian National Day in Luxembourg, at the Pavillon Am Brill in Mamer on Sunday 20 July 2025 from 12:00 to 18:00.
Every year, the event brings together hundreds of Belgians and friends of Belgians in a friendly atmosphere. Food lovers will be able to taste Belgian specialties, while a selection of beers from both sides of the border will showcase the Belgian-Luxembourgish friendship.
This year, the URB-BKV - an association that has united Belgians in Luxembourg since 1907 - has chosen to organise the event in the Am Brill park in Mamer, in southwestern Luxembourg. The association cited STATEC figures which show that the 26,000 Belgians in Luxembourg (including 7,500 dual nationals) are particularly concentrated in the west of Luxembourg, along the border with their native country.
The programme for this friendly-family afternoon includes musical and fun entertainment, a raffle for the benefit of the "Envole-toi" association, children's activities such as bouncy castles and the visit of the Belgian Ambassador to Luxembourg, Charles Delogne.
"This celebration of the Belgian national holiday helps strengthen ties between the various members of the community in Luxembourg. We see both friendly and business relationships being forged, which perfectly reflects the approach of the URB-BKV," explained URB-BKV President Virginie Michielsen.
This event is made possible by the support of the association's partners and its volunteers who organise both festive and business-oriented events throughout the year to forge ties between Belgium and Luxembourg.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in black, yellow and red - the colours of the Belgian flag.
Free admission.
