The Centre Culturel Altrimenti in Luxembourg City is hosting a Palestinian cultural festival on Saturday 5 July 2025 from 18:00 to 20:30.
According to the organisers (Comité pour une Paix Juste au Proche Orient - CPJPO and Altrimenti), this family-friendly cultural event "brings the soul and rhythm of Palestine from Nablus to Luxembourg".
The Keffiyeh Dance Troupe, made up of young volunteers from the Keffiyeh Center, are coming directly from the West Bank to share their work in promoting cultural heritage through dance, music and artistic expression. Their aim is to support young people in the Askar refugee camp of Nablus in facing the challenges of daily life.
The organisers added: "This is more than a performance - it's a space for connection, reflection and meaningful solidarity".

The Keffiyeh Center is a social association founded in 2012 in the New Askar refugee camp in Nablus, Palestine. It was created in response to an urgent need in the region for a space providing extracurricular activities and tailored programmes for children and adolescents, to support healthy development and civic engagement. The centre focuses on involving young people in community service and volunteer work, while offering cultural activities that promote understanding, revival and preservation of Palestinian heritage.
