The NETWORK Welcomes Summer

On the evening of Wednesday 10 July 2024, Luxembourg-based international professional women's association The NETWORK held its annual Summer Drinks event at Silversquare Liberté in Luxembourg-Gare.

The NETWORK kicked off the summer break with Summer Drinks, a networking event bringing together members and non-members alike - including a few newcomers and male attendees.

Mariana Florea, President of The NETWORK, introduced the event and presented her fellow board members and committee members. It was then time to let the (networking) games begin... In addition to summery floral headbands, attendees equipped themselves with sparkly pens and a type of bingo card. The goal was to interact with six different people to match them with an interesting fact, e.g. find someone who has been a member of The NETWORK for more than two years and someone else who has taken up a new hobby this year. Completed bingo entries were placed in a jar for a draw which saw a handful of winners obtain prizes such as free entry to The NETWORK's events.

The evening marked one last opportunity for The NETWORK's members and guests to connect and socialise over drinks and finger food before the summer break. Events will resume in September 2024.
